Condura Skyway Marathon 2011

Bigger, better Condura Skyway Marathon set.

The Condura Skyway Marathon 2011, Run for the Dolphins kicks off February 6, 2011 with a new look, new-concept and a new category added to spice up action in the event tipped to draw a record field.

In fact, the upcoming event has been re-branded from Condura Run to Condura Skyway Marathon as part of the organizer's effort to line up the race as a premier marathon event in the Asia-Pacific region in 2012. "With re-branding comes a lot of improvements that will benefit our runners" said Ton Concepcion. The D-tag timing system used in the New York City Marathon will be utilized in this race.
To accommodate the big number of entries, organizers have set two starting lines on Ayala Avenue and at the Bonifacio Global City with the finish line at BGC. Runners will also be provided with a special edition dri-fit technical t-shirts with the 16k event to be introduced next year. For the first time, the 10k and 16k runners, along with those competing in the half-marathon, will get a taste of running the skyway through a point-to-point course that starts at Ayala Avenue and ends at Bonifacio Global City. With the extension of the skyway, the full marathoners will now be able to run from BGC to Sucat and back. Other events on tap are the 3k and 5k inside BGC.

E-registration is ongoing at Greenbelt 3 in front of Asics store. Deadline for list up is on January 31, 2011. Online registration closes on January 22, 2011. For details and online list up;

  2. Hi Ray, it's my pleasure. But I'm afraid I'm not 100 percent.
