30th Macau International Marathon

The 2011 Macau Galaxy Entertainment International Marathon will be held on December 4, 2011. The Macau Sports Development Board and Association of Athletics of Macau being the organizers aim to develop local sports by raising the level of running, to strengthen the friendship between people from different parts of the world and contribute to the promotion of sport tourism in Macau.

Registration Venue:

1. Macau Sport Development Board, Av. Dr. Rodrigo Rodrigues, Forum de Macau, Bloco1, 4 Andar, Macau. P.O. Box 334 (until Nov. 25)
2. Association of Athletics of Macau, Olympic Sport Centre Stadium, Avenida Olimpica, Taipa, Macau. P.O. Box 6127 (from Nov. 26 to Dec. 11)
Registration Fees:

1. Full Marathon (42.195km)
2. Half Marathon (21. 0975km)
  • Athlete affiliated to the AAM (Early Bird Promo MOP$70; Normal Registration Fee MOP$140; Late Registration Fee MOP$240)
  • Local Athlete ((Early Bird Promo MOP$100; Normal Registration Fee MOP$200; Late Registration Fee MOP$300)
  • Non-Local Athlete (Early Bird Promo HK$300; Normal Registration Fee HK$600; Late Registration Fee HK$700)
  • Only cash will be accepted, and exchange rate difference will not be considered.)
3. Mini Marathon (ca 6.5km)
  • For all Athletes (Normal Registration Fee MOP$50; Late Registration Fee MOP$100)
  • To register as a group, each athlete has to fill in one registration form and submit to the OC together with the valid ID copy of the entity group belongs to.
Registration and Payment Methods:

1. In Person or through a representative (until Dec. 3, 2011)
  • Participant should fill in a registration form and submit it along with valid ID and the registration fee at one of the registration venues.
  • Upon confirmation, a receipt for collection of number bib and chip on Dec. 2 & 3 at the Olympic Sport Center Stadium will be given to the athlete.
  • Only MOP/HK Dollars will be accepted and exchange rates will not be considered.
2. By Post (until Nov. 18, 2011)
  • Participant should fill in a registration form and submit it by post along with valid ID, a bank draft and post it to one of the registration venues.
  • Upon confirmation, an acknowledgement letter and receipt used for collection of number bib and chip on Dec. 2 & 3 at the Olympic Sport Center Stadium will be sent by post to the athlete.
  • Bank draft should be made payable to Fundo De Desenvolvimento Desportivo.
  • Personal checks are not accepted.
3. Online Registration (until Nov. 25, 2011)
  • Through the official website: www.macaumarathon.com and follow the guidelines to process the registration.
  • Proceed to payment by credit card. Only Visa and Mastercard will be accepted.
  • After successful payment, and if registration is approved, the OC will send an email and receipt used for collection of number bib and chip on Dec. 2 & 3 at the Olympic Sport Center Stadium to inform that the registration is completed successfully. The confirmation will be sent 1 or 2 days after the application.
4. Please note that registration by fax will not be accepted and please keep the receipt properly as it won't be re-issued.

MH Urbanathlon & Festival 2011

Register now for the Men’s Health Urbanathlon & Festival 2011

Do you have what it takes to be an Urbanathlete? Get ready as Men’s Health Philippines brings you its most awaited race event the Men’s Health Urbanathlon & Festival 2011. As Men’s Health magazine’s international signature event, the Urbanathlon features urban obstacles like hurdles, a scaffolding maze and an 8-foot wall among others along the race course, making it a race unlike any other.

adidas King of the Road 2011 Kick-Off Advisory

adidas would like to remind you that the KOT
R 2011 Kick-Off is this coming Monday to Wednesday,October 10-12 from 11am to 11pm at the NBC Tent at the Fort Bonifacio Global City.

Come collect your race pack during this time. Do note that it is mandatory to collect your race pack in order to participate in the race. There are running clinics, talks for runners, selling and sampling booths, games, and raffle, so we encourage all participants to drop by. The KOTR 2011 Kick-off is open to the public so please feel free to bring family and friends.

Read on to ensure smooth race pack collection.

Collecting race pack for yourself:
Find the lane for your category, fall in line, and present your KOTR confirmation letter and the valid ID that you used for the registration. No requirements or incomplete requirements, no race pack.

Collecting through a representative:
Should you be unable to collect your race pack personally, you may allow someone else to collect on your behalf, a representative should present an ID, authorization letter issued by you, attached with your (participant) KOTR confirmation letter, and a photocopy of the ID you used for registration. No requirements or incomplete requirements, no race pack. Representative should locate the lane for your category and queue accordingly.

Collecting bulk race packs:
For group race pack collection, please double check to have all your requirements intact. Please bring authorization letter, attached with the corresponding KOTR confirmation letter, and photocopy of each valid ID used for registration, strictly for each participant whose race pack is being collected for. Find the lane for bulk collection and queue accordingly. No requirements or incomplete requirements, no race pack.

Collecting for minors:
Minors (participants below 18 years old by 23 October), please present your confirmation email, and the valid ID that you used for registration. Please take note that a signed Parental Consent and Indemnity Agreement, and a photocopy of ID of the parent/guardian are required as well.

If you are outside Metro Manila:
All participants from the provinces and overseas who are unavailable for the Kick-Off may claim their race packs on the race day at the Bonifacio Global City on Sunday, October 23, 2011 from 3am-4am only. Please present your KOTR confirmation letter and valid ID used for registration. No requirements or incomplete requirements, no race pack.

If you registered through Free Run Promo:
Please expect delivery of your race pack on or before Oct 21. Come down to NBC Tent to participate in the side events at the Kick-Off, too.
